A multisport competition utilizing Boulder Beach at Lake Mead as a swim to bike transition hub. Spectators gather at the finish line race village to watch participants navigate the final miles along the paved River Mountains Loop Trail.
Best for: Endurance sports fans and families supporting participants.
Planning notes
- Wave starts begin at 6:30 AM. Arrive by 6:00 AM to secure a viewing spot on the rocky shoreline.
- Sturdy, closed toe footwear is required for navigating the gravel and rock surfaces of Boulder Beach.
- There is no natural shade at the race village. Portable umbrellas and high SPF sunscreen are recommended.
Accessibility
The race village is on paved lots and hard packed dirt. Accessible parking provides paved access to the transition area.
